Area Sampling Frame Method, Efforts to Improve Eye Estimate Method

BPS Kabupaten Sukamara also collected agricultural statistical data using Area Sampling Frame method which started in January. Hopefully this methods will improve data so it can be more objective and modern by involving the role of technology, so that the collected agricultural data becomes more accurate and timely.

The background of this activity is considering the method of harvesting area data collection that still use conventional method using eye estimate so the data obtained is not accurate. In addition, the increasing number of government programs related to food which is also one of the ideals of the nawacita is the realization of self-sufficiency in food, so the need for a better method of data collection. For that reason the use of KSA methods presented as an effort to improve data collection methods using the eye estimate.
