Tiling is one way to predict the amount of crop production remaining on the land through sampling, measuring and weighing. Currently, the crops whose productivity can be measured through new tiles are limited to rice, corn, soybeans, cassava, peanuts and sweet potatoes.
Ahead of the 2024 Pasir River rice harvest celebration, the BPS Sukamara Regency Ubinan Team is collaborating with the Food Security and Agriculture Service to carry out rice tiling first. This is done in order to provide an approximate picture of the total rice harvest produced on that land.
On April 17 2024, the BPS Sukamara Regency Tiling Team carried out tiling of 2 plots of rice with the first plot having a land area of 0.5 Ha, 15 Kg of seeds, and a total of 99 clumps, and the second plot with a land area of 0.5 Ha, 15 Seeds Kg, and the number of clumps is 90.
The rice harvest thanksgiving activity in Sungai Pasir Village was held on April 18 2024, where the thanksgiving was attended by the PJ Regent and representatives of the Sukamara Regency government agencies.
It is hoped that this rice harvest celebration will encourage and encourage farmers to continue to be more active in planting rice, increasing productivity and rice production to meet food needs.
