Price Statistics Briefing for BPS of Sukamara Regency in 2025

In order to meet the need for price data, the Central Statistics Agency periodically carries out price surveys including the Rural Price Survey (SHPed), Wholesale Price Survey (SHPB), Consumer Price Survey (SHK) and Producer Price Survey (SHP). The aim of carrying out these surveys is to obtain price data at the producer, consumer, wholesaler and retail trader level in a complete and continuous manner.

Therefore, to obtain quality statistical data, a briefing activity was carried out for officers on January 14-15 2025 in the Sukamara Regency BPS Office Hall. This activity was led by Mr. Agung Setyo Pratomo as Head of the Sukamara Regency BPS Office. This briefing activity is important to carry out because there needs to be a common perception regarding concepts and definitions as well as technical guidelines for survey implementation covered in SHPed, SHPB, SHK and SHP which are updated to all data collection officers (both new and existing officers). This is intended to minimize Non-Sampling Error (NSE) which has the potential to occur from the data collection process to processing.

With this activity, it is hoped that the price survey activity will run smoothly and officers will be able to collect quality and reliable price data so that the dissemination of the resulting data can be used as a material for formulating policies and evaluating government performance, especially in Sukamara Regency.
