Abstract

In February 2011, Central Kalimantan, which is a combination of Palangka Raya City and Sampit City, experienced deflation of 0.08 percent. The inflation rate for the calendar year 2011 up to February was 0.61 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 8.65 percent.
Judging from the 8 CPI cities in Kalimantan that calculated inflation in February 2011, inflation occurred sequentially in Singkawang City 1.75 percent, Tarakan 1.32 percent, Pontianak 1.10 percent, Banjarmasin 0.80 percent, Balikpapan 0.45 percent, Palangka Raya 0.02 percent, Samarinda 0.02 percent, and Sampit -0.22 percent.
