Abstract

In May 2012, Central Kalimantan, which is a combination of Palangka Raya City and Sampit City, experienced deflation of 0.07 percent. The cumulative inflation rate in 2012 up to May was 2.21 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 6.60 percent.

Of the 8 CPI cities in Kalimantan that calculated inflation in May 2012, inflation occurred in Pontianak City 0.93 percent; Palangka Raya 0.25 percent; Balikpapan 0.04 percent; Tarakan -0.23 percent; Singkawang -0.23 percent; Samarinda -0.26 percent; Banjarmasin -0.29 percent and Sampit -0.48 percent
