Abstract

In October 2012, Central Kalimantan, which is a combination of Palangka Raya City and Sampit City, experienced deflation of 0.07 percent. The cumulative inflation rate in 2012 up to October was 4.01 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 5.19 percent.
Of the 8 CPI cities in Kalimantan that calculated inflation in October 2012, inflation occurred in Tarakan City 0.16 percent; Banjarmasin -0.03 percent; Sampit -0.05 percent; Palangka Raya -0.08 percent; Balikpapan -0.36 percent; Singkawang -0.49 percent; Samarinda -0.58 percent and Pontianak -1.55 percent.
