Abstract

In September 2014, Central Kalimantan, which is a combination of Palangka Raya City and Sampit City, experienced deflation of 0.46 percent. The inflation rate for the 2014 calendar year to September was 3.70 percent and the "year on year" inflation rate was 4.82 percent.
Of the 9 CPI cities in Kalimantan that calculated inflation in September 2014, respectively, inflation occurred in Tarakan City at 0.71 percent; Singkawang 0.62 percent; Palangka Raya 0.51 percent; Balikpapan 0.51 percent; Tanjung 0.42 percent; Sampit 0.37 percent; Banjarmasin 0.18 percent; Pontianak 0.13 percent and Samarinda 0.04 percent.
