Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels rose by 16.25 percent, from 22,455 people (September 2019) to 26,105 people (October 2019). The number of guests staying at non-star hotels also rose 0.76 percent, from 58,242 people (September 2019) to 58,686 people (October 2019).

Cumulatively, the number of guests staying at star hotels rose 4.20 percent, from 225,809 people (January-October 2018) to 235,290 people (January-October 2019). In contrast, the number of guests at non-star hotels dropped 8.66 percent, from 604,003 people (January-October 2018) to 551,691 people (January-October 2019).

Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels rose by 8.39 points, from 52.29 percent (September 2019) to 60.68 percent (October 2019). Non-star hotel ROR also rose 0.20 points, from 21.80 percent (September 2019) to 22.00 percent (October 2019).

The average length of stay (RLTM) at a star hotel (1.59 days) is longer than that at non-star hotels (1.18 days).
