Abstract

Of the 90 cities monitored by the national CPI, 66 cities experienced inflation and 24 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Sibolga (1.04 percent) and the highest deflation was in Manokwari (1.81 percent). Palangka Raya ranks 62 inflation cities at the national level, while Sampit is ranked 58 inflation cities.

Inflation in Palangka Raya (0.02 percent) was influenced by increases in the price index in the food, beverage and tobacco group (0.60 percent), the clothing and footwear group (0.10 percent), and the health group (0.06 percent .

Inflation in Sampit (0.04 percent) was influenced by an increase in the price index for the food, beverage and tobacco group (0.31 percent), the equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance group (0.15 percent), and the information, communication group. , and financial services (0.14 percent).

Based on two reference cities (Palangka Raya and Sampit), Kalimantan Tengah Province experienced inflation (0.02 percent), calendar year inflation rate (0.15 percent) and year-on-year inflation rate (1.05 percent).
