Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's Combined Farmer Exchange Rate (FER) increased 1.33 percent, from 107.99 (December 2020) to 109.43 (January 2021). This increase was driven by an increase in the exchange rate in all sub-sectors, namely the horticulture sub-sector (2.19 percent), smallholder plantation crops (1.54 percent), food crops (1.03 percent), fisheries (0.73 percent) and livestock ( 0.55 percent).

The highest FER occurred in the smallholder plantation sub-sector (115.98), followed by the livestock sub-sector (105.83), fisheries (101.98), food crops (100.17) and horticulture (99.55).

The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises increased by 1.24 percent, from 109.48 (December 2020) to 110.84 (January 2021).

The price index received by farmers (𝐼𝑡) was 117.28 (up 1.46 percent) and the price index paid by farmers (𝐼𝑏) was 107.18 (up 0.14 percent).

The Household Consumption Index was 107.64 or there was a change in the index of 0.14 percent.
