Abstract

The room occupancy rate (ROR) for star hotels during May 2021 reached 36.23 percent, down 3.63 points compared to April 2021 which was 39.86 percent. The ROR for non-star hotels fell by 0.35 points, from 17.61 percent to 17.26 percent.
  • Compared to the same month the previous year, the ROR for star hotels rose 22.50 points and non-star hotels rose 8.59 points.
  • The average length of stay of guests (RLTM) at star hotels in May 2021 reached 1.65 days, while non-star hotels were 1.12 days.
  • The number of guests staying at star hotels in May 2021 was 18,783 people, down 5.89 percent compared to the previous month. The number of guests staying at non-star hotels also fell 0.96 percent.
