Abstract

The frequency of flights decreased by 2.99 percent, from 1,105 flights (December 2022) to 1,072 flights (January 2023).
  • The number of air transport passengers decreased by 3.31 percent, from 99,580 people (December 2022) to 96,279 people (January 2023).
  • Traffic of goods using air transportation rose 7.14 percent, from 1,204 tons (December 2022) to 1,290 tons (January 2023).
  • The frequency of ship visits to ports in the Central Kalimantan region increased by 26.74 percent, from 617 visits (December 2022) to 782 visits (January 2023).
  • The number of sea transport passengers decreased by 8.80 percent, from 34,204 people (December 2022) to 31,194 people (January 2023).
  • Traffic of goods using sea transportation increased 33.44 percent, from 1.21 million tonnes (December 2022) to 1.61 million tonnes (January 2023).
  • During January 2023, sea transport passenger activities were concentrated at Kumai Port (71.90 percent), while the volume of goods flow was concentrated at Sampit Port (53.36 percent).
