Abstract
Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The Combined NTP of Kalimantan Tengah in November 2023 increased by 1.89 percent compared to October 2023, namely from 117.76 to 119.99. This increase was caused by the increase in exchange rates in several subsectors, namely food crops (0.90 percent), horticulture (0.68 percent), smallholder plantation crops (2.74 percent), and fisheries (0.40 percent).
In November 2023, there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Tengah by 0.25 percent, which is mainly due to an increase in the Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision group index (0.71 percent); Food, Beverage and Tobacco group (0.37 percent); and the Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group (0.34 percent).
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Tengah in November 2023 increased by 2.13 percent, from 118.77 (October 2023) to 121.30 (November 2023).
