Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah export value in December 2023 reached US$551.17 million or an increase of 54.26 percent compared to November 2023, and an increase of 12.87 percent compared to December 2022.
  • Coal, palm oil, zirconium, niobium and tantalum ores, plywood and other mineral materials are Kalimantan Tengah main export commodities during December 2023.
  • China, Japan and India will be the main destination countries for Kalimantan Tengah exports during December 2023.
  • Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah export value fell by 14.37 percent, from US$5,829.59 million (January-December 2022) to US$4,992.10 million (January-December 2023).
  • The import value of Kalimantan Tengah during December 2023 reached US$4.76 million, down 44.91 percent compared to November 2023, but up 25.59 percent compared to December 2022.
  • Bituminous asphalt, fertilizer and catalysts are the main commodities imported by Kalimantan Tengah during December 2023.
  • Singapore, Fed. Russia and Germany are the main countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah imports during December 2023.
  • Kalimantan Tengah foreign trade balance in December 2023 experienced a surplus of US$546.41 million.
