Abstract
● The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in May 2024 reached US$328.96
million, down 0.77 percent compared to exports in April 2024, and down 17.23
percent compared to exports in May 2023.
● Coal, palm oil, zirconium ore, niobium and tantalum, lignite, and
plywood and crumb rubber are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during
May 2024.
● Japan, China and India will be the main destination countries for
Kalimantan Tengah's exports during May 2024.
● The import value of Kalimantan Tengah during May 2024 reached US$1.92
million, down 18.30 percent compared to April 2024 and down 87.49 percent
compared to May 2023.
● Fertilizers, power plants, catalysts and extraction machines are the
main commodities imported by Kalimantan Tengah during May 2024.
● Feds. Russia, Laos and Malaysia are the main countries of origin for
Kalimantan Tengah's imports during May 2024.
● Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance in May 2024 experienced a
surplus of US$327.04 million.
