The room occupancy rate (ROR) for star hotels during August 2024 was 55.20 percent, a decrease of 1.35 points compared to July 2024, which was recorded at 56.55 percent. ROR for non-star hotels during August 2024 was 22.62 percent, a decrease of 0.14 points compared to July 2024, which was recorded at 22.76 percent.

• Compared to the same month in the previous year, ROR for star hotels in August 2024 fell 0.99 points, and non-star hotels fell 0.52 points.
• The number of guests staying at star hotels in August 2024 was 44,308 people, an increase of 2.04 percent compared to the previous month. The number of guests staying at non-star hotels was recorded at 66,814, a decrease of 1.70 percent compared to the previous month.
