SUSENAS AND SERUTI OFFICIAL TRAINING 2023

SUSENAS AND SERUTI OFFICIAL TRAINING 2023

February 16, 2023 | BPS Activities

"Mother of Survey" is the nickname for the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), which is a source of household socio-economic data that has an important role in producing social and economic indicators. These indicators include Poverty, Gini Ratio and Human Development Index (IPM).

BPS Sukamara Regency has conducted training for officers for the March 2023 National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS) and the 2023 Quarterly Household Economic Survey (SERUTI). The training consists of 2 (two) waves. The March 2023 SUSENAS Training Batch I lasted for 2 effective days, namely on 8-9 February 2023. Meanwhile the Batch II Training lasted for 3 effective days on 14-16 February 2023. The difference in the length of training time was due to the training in batch II which also coincided with officer training SHARE. The training took place at the Gawi Barinjam Hall, Sukamara Regency.

SUSENAS is a survey that presents many indicators of community welfare. Among the many strategic indicators produced by SUSENAS are data related to education, health, housing, the level of public consumption and most anticipated, the poverty rate. For the March SUSENAS, poverty rates will be obtained up to the district/city level.

At the March 2023 SUSENAS training this time, there was a "special" thing combining the 2023 SUSENAS and SERUTI activities.

SERUTI is a household-based survey which is an integration of three surveys namely the National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS), the Special Survey for Quarterly Household Consumption (SKKRT), and the Special Survey for Household Savings and Investment (SKTIR) which aims to reduce duplication of activities and increase efficiency. , as well as produce higher quality household economic statistical data.

With this training, it is hoped that activities in the field can run smoothly and officers can collect quality and reliable data.
