SPDT IHPB Officer Training 2023

On Sunday, March 19, 2023 BPS Sukamara Regency conducted training for officers of the Survey for Refinement of Wholesale Price Index Weighing Charts (SPDT IHPB) which was held in the BPS Hall of Sukamara Regency. This activity was carried out for 1 effective day. The training started at 08.00 WIB and was opened by the Head of BPS Sukamara Regency, Khalid Zuhri, SST, M.Sc.

SPDT IHPB is a survey conducted to obtain the Wholesale Price Index (IHPB). WPI is an index that describes price changes at the wholesaler level. The main purpose of calculating the WPI is as a deflator for the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) produced by BPS. In addition, the IHPB is also used by Bank Indonesia (BI) as an indicator of economic policy analysis.

With this training, it is hoped that officers will be able to comply with a predetermined schedule, probing a lot of information (probing) from respondents and still prioritizing the quality of the data produced so that accurate and quality data is obtained.
