Sukamara - BPS-Statistics of Sukamara regency held a Training of Domestic Tourist Survey Officers on June 25, 2020. Located in the Hall of the Sukamara Regency BPS Office, the training was attended by field officers, both enumerators and supervisors. The training activities carried out in the midst of this pandemic certainly continue to follow the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Health Guidelines within the BPS. Different from the previous year, Budi Wibowo, SST, M.Sc. as the Head of the Commerce Statistics and Service Section of BPS in Central Kalimantan Province as well as the National Instructor of the Nusantara Tourist Survey 2020 delivered the material using Zoom Meeting.
By conducting this training it is hoped that the data produced will be of higher quality along with the increasing understanding of the officials regarding the concept, definition and utilization of this data. This was one of the considerations for deciding on the training by continuing to invite officers to the Sukamara BPS office so that the staff could still be guided in understanding this survey.
The Nusantara Tourist Survey (Wisnus) is one of the surveys conducted by the Distribution Statistics Section this year. In Central Kalimantan, this survey was only carried out in Sukamara District with a total work area of 30 BS in Quarter II and 30 BS in Quarter III. This survey aims to collect data on archipelago tourists or Indonesian residents who travel in Indonesian territory. Domestic data is needed in the preparation of plans and policies in the field of tourism and is included as a national priority program.
Let's succeed in conducting the Wisnus Survey! Welcome our officers with a smile and give honest answers.
