Training for Village Potential Officers (Podes) 2024 BPS Sukamara Regency

Village Potential is complete village-level data collection carried out by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to produce data for regional development needs, providing data on regional potential, availability of infrastructure/facilities, and socio-economic conditions in each village/sub-district.
Data from Podes data collection is able to describe the potential possessed by an area at the village, sub-district and district/city levels throughout Indonesia. Podes data can be used by various parties who need it. In line with developments over time, the need for regional data and information down to the smallest areas is felt to be increasingly diverse and urgent to be met.
One of the preparations for implementing the 2024 Podes data collection is officer training. Officer training is one of the strategic stages in every survey or census. The 2024 BPS Sukamara Regency Podes officer training was held on April 25-26 online via the zoom application and on April 29 offline in the Sukamara Regency BPS Office Hall. Participants in this training were 1 Regional Instructor, 5 partners, and 3 organic BPS Sukamara Regency employees.
The 2024 Podes data collection for BPS Sukamara Regency was carried out on 2-31 May 2024. The 2024 Podes data collection was different from the previous data collection in that the 2021 Podes used the PAPI data collection method and for the 2024 Podes used the CAPI data collection method, namely through the FASIH application.
From this training, it is hoped that officers will be able to carry out data collection correctly and completely in accordance with the definition concepts that have been taught, data collection procedures that must be adhered to and hopefully Podes 2024 officers can complete this data collection in accordance with the specified time.
