Abstract

In October 2010, Central Kalimantan, which is a combination of Palangka Raya City and Sampit City, experienced inflation of 0.10 percent with a CPI of 125.12. The inflation rate for the calendar year 2010 to October was 7.05 percent and the inflation rate “year on year” (October 2010 to October 2009) of Central Kalimantan was 7.79 percent.
Judging from the 8 CPI cities in Kalimantan that calculated inflation in October 2010, in sequence inflation occurred in Sampit City 1.01 percent, Pontianak -0.15 percent, Banjarmasin -0.27 percent, Samarinda -0.50 percent, Palangka Raya -0.59 percent, Tarakan -0.81 percent, Balikpapan -0.89 percent, Singkawang -1.65 percent.
