Abstract

In August 2011, Central Kalimantan, which is a combination of Palangka Raya City and Sampit City, experienced inflation of 1.09 percent. The cumulative inflation rate in 2011 up to August was 2.88 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 6.24 percent.
Of the 8 CPI cities in Kalimantan that calculated inflation in August 2011, inflation occurred in Pontianak City 1.78 percent; Banjarmasin 1.53 percent; Singkawang 1.50 percent; Palangka Raya 1.48 percent; Samarinda 1.38 percent; Sampit 0.58 percent, Tarakan 0.45 percent and Balikpapan 0.26 percent.
