Abstract

In October 2011, Central Kalimantan, which is a combination of Palangka Raya City and Sampit City, experienced deflation of 0.47 percent. The cumulative inflation rate in 2011 up to October was 3.38 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate was 5.75 percent.
Of the 8 CPI cities in Kalimantan that calculated inflation in October 2011, inflation occurred in Tarakan City 0.63 percent; Sampit -0.03 percent; Balikpapan -0.15 percent; Banjarmasin -0.60 percent; Samarinda -0.75 percent; Palangka Raya -0.81 percent; Singkawang -0.93 percent and Pontianak -1.66 percent.
