Abstract

The value of Central Kalimantan's exports in October 2014 was US$96.16 million, up 41.25 percent compared to September 2014 which reached US$68.08 million. Cumulatively, the value of Central Kalimantan's exports from January to October 2014 reached US$945.36 million or down 15.62 percent compared to the same period in 2013 which was US$1,120.41 million.
Export commodities in October 2014 were mineral fuels (HS 27) amounting to US$34.97 million (36.37 percent), animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) amounting to US$33.20 million (34.52 percent), wood and wood products (HS 44) worth US$15.47 million (16.09 percent), rubber, rubber products (HS 40) worth US$9.72 million (10.11 percent), and Food Industry Waste/Residue (HS 23) amounting to US$1.11 million (1.16 percent).
The largest exports in October 2014 were made through Kumai port with a value of US$28.22 million (29.35 percent) and ports outside Central Kalimantan US$45.86 million (47.69 percent). Cumulatively the largest exports were made through Sampit port amounting to US$266.65 million (28.21 percent).
The export destination countries in October 2014 were India at US$28.00 million (29.12 percent), Malaysia at US$27.66 million (28.76 percent), and Japan at US$18.91 million (19.66 percent).
