Small Steps Creating One Data from village to Indonesia, Village Potential Data Collection 2021

One month ahead, June 2-30 to be precise 2021, will be the beginning of the real steps taken by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to create One Indonesian Data. Now, the targets of BPS 'activities are Villages / Kelurahan, Districts, and Districts / Cities. This is in accordance with the third point of President Jokowi's Nawa Cita "Building a Village from Excavation by strengthening regions and villages within the framework of a unitary state."

BPS through the Village Potential Data Collection (PODES) 2021 wants to be able to support the availability of data and information about the existence and potential development of villages / sub-districts. In addition, BPS itself provides data that can support planning for the upcoming 2023 Agricultural Census. The data generated from Podes include rural, coastal-non-coastal, underdeveloped-non-lagging data, and so on.

Then, as preparation for the implementation of these activities, BPS Sukamara District conducted a 2021 Podes Officer Training for 2 (two) days, 24-25 May 2021 while still implementing health protocols. This is an effort to maintain the quality of the data that will be generated later by fostering understanding for officers.
