Sakernas Officer Training February CAPI 2024

At the 2022 One Employment Data Forum, the Deputy Minister of Manpower, Afriansyah Noor, emphasized the importance of taking employment development policies based on evidence and facts, not perception or intuition. Thus, to be able to make good policies, quality and accurate data is needed. The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a routine survey conducted by the Central Statistics Agency and is a source of employment data. This survey is conducted twice a year, namely in February and August. The February 2024 Sakernas census will be carried out using the Computer Assist Personal Interviewer (CAPI) method, with the FASIH BPS application. In practice, enumerators will no longer use document/paper questionnaires but will use smartphone or tablet devices. In order to produce quality data, officers are needed who are able to carry out data collection well. Therefore, BPS Sukamara Regency has organized training activities for Sakernas February CAPI 2024 officers.

Officer training activities have been carried out in a combination of online and offline. Online Sakernas officer training was held for 2 days on 22-23 January 2024 via Zoom Meeting, while offline training was held on 24 January 2024 in the Sukamara Regency BPS Office Hall with 10 people participating, consisting of 4 PCL and 2 PML with guidance by 'Aisyah Baratut Taqiyyah S.Tr.Stat. and Jona P.A. Siregar S.Tr.Stat. as Regional Instructor (Inda), Advanto Siahaan, A.Md.Stat. as committee and Khalid Zuhri, SST, M.Si as Head of BPS Sukamara Regency.

The officer training activity is intended to provide a general overview for prospective officers regarding the implementation of data collection in the Sakernas field in February 2024, so that quality and reliable data is produced. The February 2024 Sakernas officer training activities by BPS Sukamara Regency went smoothly from start to finish. This activity was opened and closed directly by Khalid Zuhri, SST, M.Sc., as Head of BPS Sukamara Regency.
